What do you need to know about the exams?
$49 exam fee. Retakes are also $49 each. Test as many times as you need to pass with a 70.
✦ Multiple Choice Format. Only one right answer, never more.
✦ 145 Questions with 2.5 hours to complete. 15 of the questions are not included in your score. They are being tested out and considered for future use. But there is no way to know which 15 they are, so it's useless information. It's 145 to deal with.
There is no penalty for a wrong answer, so leave no blanks.
✦ Section One of the exam is the first 110 questions about all kinds of insurance terms, policy types and industry basics.
✦ The computer then stops and says, "You have completed Section One. You then click to continue to Section Two.
✦ Section Two consists of 35 Questions all focused on Department of Insurance Rules, Regulations, and Compliance
You must complete both sections before the 2.5 hour timer runs out. You pass or fail based on your total raw score. The sections are not graded individually.
You get your result as soon as you finish the test. They hand you a sheet of paper. If you passed, you just see your score. You never know what you got right or wrong. If you didn't pass there's a bar graph to tell you how you did in each part of the exam.

Two days. Houston in-person classroom or Zoom Webinar. Weekend or Wednesday - Thursday.
We cover the critical 2/3 of the syllabus in class. You do the rest on the video course. This is not a 2-day cram course. We go deep into the fundamental concepts that you must have before any of it will make sense. One cannot attend this class and then take the test the next day. This is a process.
